Pastor Robert was born and raised in Metairie, Louisiana. In February 1999, he accepted Christ as his personal Lord and Savior, and soon after, he surrendered to ministry. He graduated from New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary with a Bachelor of Arts in Christian Ministry in 2005, followed by a Master of Divinity in 2020. He continued his studies at Midwestern Baptist Theological Seminary, earning both a Master of Theology and a Doctorate in Expository Preaching in 2023.

Pastor Robert joined our congregation in 2024. Throughout the years, he has faithfully served churches in Mississippi, Louisiana, and Missouri. Pastor Robert is passionate about preaching and studying God’s Word, serving others, and helping people grow in their faith. Outside of ministry, he enjoys spending time with his family, being outdoors, watching football, and cooking. Robert is married to his loving wife, LaDonna, who faithfully serves alongside him in ministry. Together, they have two children: David and AnnaBeth.

Tauren is a U.S. Army Combat Veteran with a passion for mentoring the next generation. With several years of youth ministry leadership, he brings strength, compassion, and vision to our youth ministry. His heart is to help students grow in faith, build authentic community, and step boldly into their God-given purpose. When not serving in ministry, he enjoys spending time with his family, reading, tracking down a good cup of coffee, and researching his next hobby.

Tauren began attending One Church in 2021 and was ordained as a deacon in March of 2025.  Tauren is married to his loving wife, Courtney, and together they have one son, Levi. 

Ruben was born and raised in Southern California. Ruben gave his life to Christ at age 9. In his early twenties, he served San Bernardino County as a firefighter before being called by God into full-time ministry. Ruben earned a Bachelor’s in Christian Studies from California Baptist University in 2001 and a Master’s in Applied Theology from Gateway Seminary in 2004. He has helped plant and serve in several churches across Southern California.

In September 2024, Ruben and his family moved to Florida and joined our congregation in 2025. He is passionate about leading worship, sharing God’s Word, and discipling others in their walk with Christ. Ruben enjoys collecting vinyl records, the outdoors, and playing sports. He is married to his lovely wife, Stephanie, and together they have three daughters: Samantha, who recently married Derek, Isabelle, and Abigail.
